Orlando Furioso, one of the longest poems in European literature, is the sequel to Matteo Maria Boiardo’s incomplete epic poem Orlando Innamorato. During the fight, she escapes. This tale of war, adventure, sorcery, romance, humor, tragedy, and redemption has influenced famous writers like Spenser and Shakespeare, and continues to inspire writers to this day.
